Paolo Rocca is President and CEO of the Techint Group, which comprises Tenaris, Ternium, and other companies operating in the engineering, construction and energy sectors.
He is the President and CEO of Tenaris, a leading company in the production and supply of pipes and services for the energy industry worldwide, as well as for other industrial applications. Tenaris is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, the Italian Stock Exchange and the Mexican Stock Exchange and has an integrated global network for steel pipe production, research, completion and services through industrial operations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa and its own offices with direct presence in the main oil and gas markets.
He is also Chairman of Ternium, one of the leading steel companies in the Americas, listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Rocca is a member of the Executive Committee of the World Steel Association and of the International Council of J. P. Morgan Chase.
He was born in Milan in 1952 and graduated in Political Science from the University of Milan. In 1985 he obtained his PhD from Harvard University.
